"Having performed happily in Oswestry on several occasions, I know what a vibrant music scene already exists among the older population.
However, as elsewhere, opportunities for the younger generation to experience the joy and life-long satisfaction that music can bring have gradually been eroded.
For this reason, I am very happy to be able to send my very best wishes to MusicMOB, the new Oswestry and district initiative designed to counter this trend by affording the opportunity for young children to learn an instrument, children who would otherwise be deprived of such a chance.
