On Saturday, we had our first fundraising concert, with Porthywaen Senior and Junior Bands, the Orthopaedic Male Voice Choir, youth rock band, The Axe Lads, youth choir, The Clefhangers, wind band, The Clariphones (including some of our students in their first public performance), as well as solo items from singer, Jakob Fradley and saxophonist, Kathy Clynes.
We are really grateful to all who took part, and to all the people who came to hear them.
It raised £1,200 to pay for instrument and singing lessons for the children in our partner primary schools.
