Some of our young woodwind and string players were thrilled and excited to perform at one of the concerts of the Whittington International Music Festival this weekend. They've been practising hard over the past few weeks with their Music MOB teachers, and they played with professional players for a Festival audience.
Enormous thanks goes to the professional musicians and to the Festival for this wonderful opportunity for our young children, giving them confidence and experience.
The string players played Bartok Dances and the woodwind played “Emancipation” by Idris Rahman.
